it was the first time she had worn a leotard. the dance instructor was adamant that they should not wear brassieres or panties-- he humiliated Patty Shores and sent her out of the studio!!
The instructor had dark intense eyes, and she wanted to please him. His fingertips delineated the muscles of her ribs, and he murmured, "Good Girl," before he moved to the next body. A bubble of joy burst inside her chest, and she nearly wept.
